SPANISH SUBTITLES

The Southeast Area Technical High School (SEA-TECH) is located on Sidbury Road in Castle Hayne, North Carolina and centrally serves both New Hanover and Pender county students. The school opened its doors on August 14, 2017 to a cohort of 44 diverse freshmen.
Students are able to enter at multiple entry points (transfer into the school from other high schools) or as a freshman.

It’s expected that many students will find SEA-TECH and the technical programs an attractive option for their high school experience because of the unique blended curriculum, project based learning, flexible scheduling and one-to-one computer access. Along with rigorous academic requirements, the opportunity to receive stackable credentials and industry certifications through real-world, work-based training, job shadows, internships and apprenticeships is not only an expectation, but a requirement of our students.

Our Philosophy

Graduation Celebration

Students at SEA-TECH will plan and be prepared for post-secondary opportunities because of their relevant, hands-on, real world educational experiences and individual career planning. When a student graduates from SEA-TECH, their plan will guide them directly into the workforce or allow them to continue with additional education and skills training.
